Cheer Carolina EventsCheerleading Trip of a Lifetime Beginning in 2004, Cheer Carolina began a special program to acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and team spirit of teams within our all star program.  This program was designed to reward one team in our gym with a “Cheerleading Trip of a Lifetime”. Cheerleader of the Year Since 1999, all stars in our program have received over $38,000 in scholarships. Cheer Carolina All Stars annually awards college scholarships to our outstanding student-athletes. Since 1999, all stars in our program have received over $38,000 in scholarships. Our scholarship recipients have gone on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, New York University, University of Kentucky, North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and many other colleges and universities. All of our Cheerleader of the Year nominees display dedication, leadership, and a strong sense of building good relationships with their teammates. Any all star in our program is eligible to receive this award. In addition to college scholarships, nominees and recipients receive an all expense paid summer vacation extravaganza! In the past nominees have gone to locations such as Florida, Hollywood, CA and the Bahamas. This year’s nominees and winners will go on a cruise to the Bahamas.
