About Cheer Carolina
Building People Before Pyramids
 Cheer Carolina All Stars started eight years ago with 14 kids in a rented room at the local YMCA. Today we're a lively family of 250, jumping and tumbling in a new gym as big as two basketball courts.
Along the way, we've grown into one of the country's top-ranked cheer and dance programs, dedicated to teaching kids the value of commitment, teamwork and diversity.
 So far we've brought home 568 competition championships.
We offer classes, camps and clinics, and custom choreography.
Ninety-five percent of our kids go on to cheer at the college level.
And American Cheerleader magazine recently ranked head coach Marcus Walker among its 100 Top Cheerleading Coaches in America.

We focus on the total person.
We don't just coach athletes. We teach life lessons that help kids experience the personal rewards of teamwork, commitment, diversity and unity.
- We believe in community.
Community service is mandatory for our older students (grades 6 and up). Through events like Toys for Tots and Relay for Life, our All Stars donate time, energy and enthusiasm to their communities. And, they have fun doing it!
- We go beyond just encouraging hard work and team unity: We celebrate it in a big way!
Each year, we honor one CCA team whose spirit exemplifies teamwork and unity, on and off the mat. Their reward is an all-expenses-paid Cheerleading Trip of a Lifetime to Orlando, Florida, to compete for a national title.
We also run a generous scholarship program. Some awards help our kids through college. One goes to kids with character. The Bagwell/Richardson Cheerleader of the Year scholarship—named in honor of two All Stars who've been with us since day one—honors hard-working kids who exhibit outstanding leadership, talent and commitment. So far, we've handed out $36,000 in scholarships to deserving All Stars.
CCA also sends awards nominees and recipients on an all-expense-paid summer extravaganza. Many of our kids have never flown or vacationed before. We show them that hard work and team spirit can take you places. This August, our latest crop of nominees and winners will be cruising the Bahamas!
- We choreograph all our own routines.
Our kids get to see award-winning creativity in practice, day in and day out. We are one of the few gyms that does all its own choreography. (After seeing our exciting, high-flying routines, many programs hire us to choreograph their moves.)

Our talented coaches take a special interest in each and every kid. And so do our kids' parents. We're not just a gym. We're family.

Each autumn, we host the Carolina Cheer Challenge, an annual exhibition and competition.
